Tyler and I are trying to get healthy, and lose weight. We went grocery shopping for veggies and proteins, and set up a gym schedule.
But yesterday, after a particularly frustrating morning in the office, I decided I was going to McDonald's for lunch. I grabbed my co-worker Shannon, and we hit the road. After sitting down to eat, we start smelling smoke. It all happened sort of fast, I guess we assumed that it was outside somewhere, and kept eating, until we hear an employee asking one table to step outside, and realize that a fire truck is pulling up, the McDonald's employees are outside, and the smoke is now thick enough that its difficult to see through.
After going outside, we can see that most of it is in the drive thru area.
No fire alarm, no manager loudly telling us to leave, nothing. A woman sued McDonald's for 2.9 million dollars because it was too hot - what was I thinking leaving? I should have gone to the bathroom, gotten minor smoke inhalation, and then sued for not informing patrons of the fire. Wonder how much I could have settled for?!
Thats what I get for straying from my diet!
