Guinevere wasn't even born yet, and her headband and bow collection was out of control. I was over the moon about having a little girl and I could not wait to stick giant bows on her - the bigger the bow, the closer to heaven, right?
The love affair started with mostly flowers, and then moved to straight bows.
And I made sure to have one on her at all times, much to Tyler's dismay.
He was a bit more accepting when they were Redskins colors though ;)
Its no wonder that one of her first words was "bow" - it went "daddy", "doggy", "bow" - I think "mama" rang in around word number 12.
Who are we kidding, even the dogs get bows. LOVE THEM.
Swoon. And now? She is the one that reminds us to add a bow, and she likes to pick which color to wear each day. And they rarely match her outfit, but I'm just so tickled she wants to wear a bow - colors be damned ;)
What do you say? Do you like bows and bands on little girls?

We definitely love bows around here! Pretty much every day! Can't help myself! Hope my girl wants to wear them one day like your babe. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE a bow. I was just telling one of my girlfriends last now how thrilled I am that, at almost eleven years old, McKayla still wants to rock her monogrammed bows :)
ReplyDeleteWe did lots of bows/headbands/hats when my girls were little and they still love "hair pretties" and hats! A girl must accessorize :-)
ReplyDeleteOh My Gosh! Adorbs! Can't have a little girl without a fabulous bow collection! I was the same way and it drove my husband crazy! Still does, haha! Now, at 13 months, our little girl puts them on herself... or tries at least! Haha!
ReplyDeleteWe loved bows... until she hit a year old. She refuses to wear them now, and it just makes me so sad. =( We have well over 100 bows and flowers, and they're just sitting on her holders. *sigh* I'm hoping she'll get back into them soon!
